Know what the next contribution should do
Contribution balancing directs new money toward the most underweight sleeve instead of forcing routine sales.
Silver DCA Planner for Windows
Track physical holdings, protect opportunity cash, respond to meaningful pullbacks, and test how the same plan behaved through decades of market history.
The planner calculates the policy and historical results. You review every recommendation and decide what, if anything, to buy.
More than a portfolio tracker
The app combines recordkeeping, policy rules, market context, and historical evidence without pretending that any formula can predict the next move.
Contribution balancing directs new money toward the most underweight sleeve instead of forcing routine sales.
Opportunity cash has a protected floor and can be released by pullback rules rather than emotion.
Historical tests show ending value alongside worst decline, recovery time, cash use, and purchase premiums.
Weekly plan
The planner considers current holdings, target ranges, live prices, purchase premiums, cash retention, and any qualified opportunity release.
A disciplined weekly workflow
Enter the amount available for the week.
Use completed market data rather than future information.
Balance targets and evaluate any reserve release.
The recommendation never places a trade.
Preserve the plan, purchase, and variance history.
Market context
Gold and silver candle charts support CAD or USD, local long-range history, mouse-wheel zoom, trend indicators, and historical analogue searches.
Plan History Test
The normal history test runs each default plan using its actual contribution balancing, reserve floors, opportunity-cash release rules, and deployment preference.
External AI explanation
Silver DCA Planner does not generate, edit, approve, or transmit the response. The user saves a limited Plan History Test package and uploads it to an external AI assistant of their choice.
The separation is deliberate.
The application remains the source of the calculations. The external AI independently explains only the supplied results, and the user reads that response alongside the app.
My Plan produced more ending value than Conservative Balanced and the fixed weekly split, but it also experienced the deepest temporary decline.
Most released opportunity cash went to silver, which was consistent with the plan’s silver-heavy allocation.
These are historical results only. They do not predict future performance.
Private evaluation release
Portfolio and policy records remain in a local SQLite database. The app does not connect to a brokerage and cannot place an order.
Your transaction database is not stored in a website account.
Every recommendation remains a decision for the user.
No source code, API keys, or hidden research exports are included.
Purchase premiums, cash use, declines, and recovery times remain visible.
